Seattle Vespa and meeting Orin

Published by admin at 11:14 am under Scoot Culture

I met Orin O’Neill from Scootin Old Skool, the other day in Seattle.

He is a generous guy with a lived passion for scooting. Of course he met us with his PX, a beautiful specimen of vintage gone reliable and he was even gracious enough to take Marcel and I over to Vespa Seattle to meet introduce us to Steve , the owner. sales manager (thanks for the correction Orin)

Everyone there is excited and looking forward to Amerivespa, which now is only a few weeks away. The shop, near the Seattle Center in a modern concrete and glass building, is packed with new bikes and all kinds of riding paraphernalia. It seems a side business is selling Segways, both road models and some that look like they could be for moto-cross. Imagine the air you could get with one of those! Thanks again to Orin.

Dave, Steve is actually the sales manager at Vespa Seattle; the owner is Victor Voris, who also owns Big People Scooters, the place you have the Vespa you purchase maintained.

It was great meeting you! I look forward to seeing you again at Amerivespa.
